About the kinsleystayvibe: Leave Your Seaside “Home” to Those Who Understand Vacation

Why We Started – From an “Imperfect” Seaside Vacation

In the summer of 2020, our founder Xiaoyu took her parents on a seaside vacation, only to face a series of disappointments:

The listing claimed a “2-minute walk to the beach,” but it actually took 15 minutes; the kitchen advertised as “suitable for seafood cooking” didn’t even have a basic steamer; when the air conditioner broke at midnight, it took 3 hours to get a response from customer service.

That trip made her realize: The beauty of a seaside vacation shouldn’t be ruined by “deceptive listings” or “inadequate service”.

So, a group of partners who share a love for the sea and have deep experience in the homestay industry came together to establish “kinsleystayvibe” – We don’t want to be just a “booking tool,” but a helper for every traveler to find a seaside residence that truly feels “as comfortable as home.”

John (Founder): She has stayed in over 40 homestays across 10 coastal cities. She’s great at “spotting issues from a guest’s perspective” – like “whether the balcony chairs get direct noon sun” or “if the sound of waves disturbs sleep at night.”

  • Cora (Listing Selection Supervisor): A native of Zhoushan, he’s skilled at seafood foraging and finding niche beaches. The listings he selects always stand close to “quiet, beautiful hidden beaches.”

Tonya (Guest Housekeeper): With 3 years of experience as a seaside homestay manager, she knows “guests may need fever medicine at 3 AM” and “rooms without steps are better for elderly guests” – she can anticipate your small needs in advance.
