My idea was to use a combination of Reef Blue and Sandalwood Brown. The primary color, Reef Blue, echoes the promise of a “fresh and reliable island home”—just like the purity of the reef waters, the “Kinsley Stay Vibe” provides users with an unadulterated island living experience. Sandalwood Brown, as a secondary color, conveys the idea of an “immersive experience of natural textures”—a visual symbol of volcanic rock and sandalwood furniture, evoking a tactile yearning for the natural textures of the island. The neutral color, Sea Salt White, creates a “comfortable, textured atmosphere,” visually transporting users into a “relaxed and sophisticated vacation mode.” I wanted a simple title that would convey the impact of my website’s content at a glance. The elegant serifs of the “Playfair Display” font break the stereotypical image of traditional rental brands and convey the “authentic yet effortless” brand identity pursued by the “Kinsley Stay Vibe” brand. We encourage users to deeply connect with the natural texture of the island, and the brand complements this experience with high-quality service. The legibility of the “Lato” font extends our “user-first” value, ensuring that every user can easily understand the rental information and enjoy a smooth interactive experience. This process has helped me gain a deeper understanding and clarity of my brand philosophy.
